Horizon de rêve
One of Québec’s most beautiful (and secret) landscape lies in the Matapédia Valley on the Restigouche river. The lookout is very well represented by it’s french name “Horizon de rêve” or Dream horizon in English.
The red, the yellow, the orange and the green are famous colors associated with fall! Speaking of which, that’s the time when trees and plants give us their last refreshing breath before the cold winter. To be honest, I could live all year long with the trees hanging those colors at the end of their little wooden branches but unfortunately, every good thing has to come to an end. Here is a beautiful photo taken near Saint-Alexis-de-Matapédia, Québec, Canada.
I want to dedicate this photo in honor to my grand father Fernand Caissy (who passed away in 2005), for showing me this breathtaking belvedere. I also want to dedicate this photo to my grand mother Lina Godbout, who passed away last week, and has thought me that even in the hardest moments, you can keep a smile and enjoy life like never before.
Thank you Grand-Ma. Thank you Grand-Pa.
